Bikepark Semmering enhances the summer leisure offering in the Semmering region with an authentic outdoor experience for guests of all ages. Set within the alpine landscape between Lower Austria and Styria, the bike park combines active recreation in nature with modern infrastructure and a wide range of options for families, leisure riders, and sport-oriented bikers alike.
Across approximately 18 kilometres, the trails wind through varied terrain with a range of difficulty levels. Alongside modern lines, the park also features sections that follow the traditional bike park philosophy: hand-built trails, natural surfaces, and a mix of dirt, dust, and stones define the riding experience and give the trails their distinctive character. The result is a well-balanced blend of fun, challenge, and an authentic connection to nature.
Beginners and families benefit from easy trails that offer a safe and playful introduction to mountain biking, while advanced and experienced riders can enjoy more demanding sections with jumps, berms, and technical elements. A special highlight is the bag jump, which allows riders to practise new jumps and tricks in a controlled environment and gradually work their way up to bigger challenges—an exciting feature for ambitious riders as well as curious visitors.
One of the bike park’s key advantages is the convenient access to the trails. The gondola lift comfortably transports visitors to the starting points, allowing them to focus entirely on the riding experience. Along the way, the trails offer repeated views of the surrounding mountain scenery, turning an active day outdoors into a true holiday experience.
Bikepark Semmering is also an attractive destination for families. Dedicated family lines and a specially designed kids area provide children and young riders with an age-appropriate introduction, ensuring a safe and varied biking experience.
